The region’s agricultural industry takes part in the production programmes Grain, Meat, Milk, Potato.

The region’s agricultural land totals 54,180 hectares, arable land – 40,100 hectares. 4,300 professionals are engaged in the agricultural industry.

There is a hog-breeding company Krutogorye-Petkovichi for 12,800 head and the Sakovichi company for 2,800 cattle in the region.

The region’s meat and poultry sales increase year-on-year.
